The goal of this ongoing project is to reflect on our relationship to water as a historical resource, and to think about relationships that exists but we do not see.

Resource - The water wheel is a familiar mechanism seen in methods of energy production, such as dams. The motion of the piston pump is seen in oil fields, extracting liquid out of the ground.

Unseen - Satellite and signal processing technologies are revealing how earth’s magnetosphere is effected by ocean currents, temperature changes, and fluctuations in sea levels. A large scale video example of this concept can be seen in a data visualization project done by NASA called “Marine Magnetism” (2017).
